If you have Administrative Supporting skills like data entry, MS-Word,
MS-Excel etc. then enter the word you want to search the job. Click on Find jobs or Find Work option and
searchbar will open which is as shown in the figure below:-
Suppose
you entered “Data Entry” in the searchbar as shown in the above searchbar or
search box. The following search result will open and again you have to be
careful to stay away from fake jobs. You need to bid only those jobs where the
employer has already hired more than one freelancer and have spent money for
that job. See the figure below at first on the left sidebar.
According
to the price or budget, all jobs have been divided into two parts:
- Hourly Job: - hourly jobs are those which are paid to you per hour you work. Hourly jobs are payment guaranteed by the Odesk Corporation. For this, you need to download Time Tracker which is available in the home page of odesk. Look around the home page of odesk for Download Time Tracker, install it and with your Username and password of the odesk will be required to track the hourly job. When hourly job client accept job for you then sign in the time tracker while you going to start the job. Click on the start button of the time tracker and start doing the hourly job on the odesk. You will be paid for each hour you worked. All the hourly job time are recorded on the time tracking application which saves your time spent on doing the particular work and will be paid upon the time recorded on this tracker.
- Fixed Price Job: - Fixed price jobs are those types of jobs which has already fixed the price for completing that work at all. It is not guaranteed by the odesk team whether client may or may not pay to the worker honestly. All the clients in fixed price jobs will not pay you after completing the work. But in case of hourly job the odesk team will pay you for every hour you spent doing that particular job. If someone pays honestly while doing fixed price job that will be great for you because fixed price job has larger amount of money.
As shown in the above two
figures, after searching job for data entry, set the job types as I did in the
above figure. Initially, all the left column job types are marked and you need
to unmark in those fields what I did in the above figure because of finding
right and trusted job for the purpose of getting payment from the right client.
No hires option shows that the client
has not hired any freelancer yet. So you need to unmark this option always. On
the basis of selection on left column entry, the result will appear on the
right side as show in the figure.
Getting
Paid methods from Odesk
After setting up your get paid method, there will be more
chances of getting hired from clients. The following are the withdrawal methods
that you will be get paid.
To set up withdrawal
methods, go to the Setting option in the home page of Odesk and enter your
odesk password and then the user setting will appear. On the left column of
user setting, click on Get Paid option and click on the Set up Payments. See
the following two figures:
After clicking on setting option, enter your odesk
password and the user setting page will appear, on the left column , click on
Get Paid option, the following page will appear, click on the Green Button for
Set Up Payments as shown in the below figure.
Now the following page will appear to set up your payment
methods. Select one of the following payments receiving method from the odesk.
